In Edge, different Internet Explorer which had a horizontal menu bar at the top of the window, Border has a slightly different configuration!
Click on the "Three dots" in the upper right corner to access all Edge options!

Thanks. I'm looking for a horizontal menu bar. I don't want to click ... everytime I want to exercise something. It's definitely not as efficient.
I don't typically like add together-ons either, peculiarly from untrusted sources.

This is really unpleasant, wouldn't the aim exist to brand a user friendly tool? This is the about unfriendly idea ever !!!! Users want a carte du jour bar, period. I do not desire the side bar ( the dots), and no way would I desire to look up shortcuts... crazy idea. All of this is more time consuming and cumbersome than using a unproblematic menu bar. For ..sake... , why cease something that really works ?

Microsoft: "To make your life easier, we've hidden the straight-forward menu bar Simply here's a listing of keyboard shortcuts y'all tin can memorize. What? Edge isn't the simply tool you use for all your computing needs? No problem, write the shortcuts down and mail-it on your monitor OR create a text file and type in all the codes. Merely open up the text file and refer to that when you're using Border. Problem solved. Take a neat day!"

It'south not almost the favorites bar, it'southward about the menu bar. It is not about shortcuts, it's most the carte du jour bar. Why is it Not an selection to use?

I encounter y'all are a bear on typist like me. Edge yet supports using the ALT key to navigate.

Yes, it is not the FILE, EDIT, etc. comfortable top menu we really want back, but it is the aforementioned number of keystrokes. ALT+infinite to display the ... card is the aforementioned equally ALT+F to drop down the File menu. This does requite yous a style to ALT navigate using underlined menu item characters that we have grown to await since Windows went up against Apple tree's original Os. Just chalk it upwardly to progress, I guess.

I found this extension on the Edge addon store which gives you your card bar into Edge :)

Click on the "Iii dots" in the upper right corner to access all Border options!

Thanks, but to be more than specific, I don't see a desktop "curt cut" option as IE had nether the File option. 🤔
